ABOUT DEREK

Dr Derek Molloy is a Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Computing at Dublin City University. He lectures in Object-oriented Programming and Connected Embedded Systems at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.

His research interests are in the fields of Computer & Machine Vision, Connected Embedded Systems, the Internet of Things (IoT) and e-Learning.

He has published several key Wiley texts on Embedded Systems and Embedded Linux that are being used as core course texts in universities all over the world and have been translated into Spanish, Chinese and Korean.
