ABOUT XIAOJUN

Dr Xiaojun Wang received a BEng in Computer and Communications and an MEng in Computer Applications from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), in 1984 and 1987 respectively. He was an Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer in BUPT from 1987 to 1989. From 1989 to 1992 he did PhD research in Staffordshire University under a Sino-British technical co-operation training award.

He joined the School of Electronic Engineering in Dublin City University as an Assistant Lecturer in 1992 where he is now an Associate Professor. His current research interests include information and network security, and hardware acceleration of security and AI algorithms.
